With 2017 just around the corner and with several of our events taking place in Liverpool next year, we spent the day visiting the city to check out the best venues and what they have to offer. Here are our top 3 unique venues in Liverpool.
Rum Warehouse, Titanic Hotel
Our favourite venue we visited has to be the Rum Warehouse at the Titanic Hotel. Nestled in Liverpool’s historic docklands, the old warehouse, which believe it or not originally was used to store rum, has recently been transformed into a conference and event space. We loved the uniqueness of the venue, the impressive size for up to 1000 guests and the design of the building; the floor to ceiling windows with views over the Stanley Canal gives you a taste of Liverpool’s heritage.
The Metropolitan Cathedral
Another stunning and unique venue in Liverpool is the Metropolitan Cathedral. One of two cathedrals in the city, the Met Cathedral can offer something different to clients who want their event to be special. Lutyens Crypt, located beneath the Cathedral is made up of the Concert Room, ideal for a pre-dinner drinks receptions and the Crypt Hall which is a larger space that can be used for dinners of up to 300 guests. The vaulted arches and brickwork combined with atmospheric lighting can create a memorable setting for any event.
If size is what you are looking for then the ACC Liverpool is definitely our top choice. Home to the BT Convention Centre, Echo Arena and the Exhibition Centre Liverpool, it can offer flexible space whether it be a meeting for 20 people or an event for 10,000, which is what makes this venue unique. The Convention Centre is ideal for conferences and other corporate events with extensive branding opportunities and excellent facilities including the recently built Pullman Hotel which is adjoining to the Exhibition Centre. We love the water front location overlooking the River Mersey and the accessibility to the vibrant city centre.
As well as the venues above, we also visited several of Liverpool’s best hotels with event space. The Hilton Liverpool has an excellent central location in Liverpool One with 11 rooms available ranging from smaller meeting rooms to large events for up to 300 people in the Grace Suite. Alternatively, located on the waterfront, the Crowne Plaza has 7 rooms, the main room with a capacity of up to 480 guests as well as onsite parking, this hotel is ideal for dinners and conferences.
We love visiting new venues as it ensures we have the perfect venues available to propose to our clients no matter what the event size, budget or requirements, so that we can always fit their brief. Liverpool is a bustling city that is perfect for hosting events as it has a wide range of venues and is thriving in culture, creativity and history.
