Childline raises £210,000 at Cool Britannia Ball

On the 4th March, the annual Childline Ball raised an incredible £210,000 in aid of NSPCC at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate. We were honoured to work alongside the NSPCC again for the 5th year to produce the star studded evening, which was themed ‘Cool Britannia’.

Every year we work with Childline North West to choose a new theme and OTE have the exciting task of turning the brief into reality. This year the Deansgate Suite was transformed with the entire ceiling covered in union jack draping, custom made silhouette boards featuring iconic images, props including a red post box and of course, a red phone box photo booth!

The star-studded guest list included Key 103’s Gemma Atkinson and Mike Toolan, TV Chef Ainsley Harriot, Coronation Street Star Samia Longchambon, Dame Esther Rantzen and Motorbike racer Carl Fogarty and family who all attended the event to show their support to the charity.

Hosted by Key 103’s Darren Proctor, the evening kicked off with a performance by The Corps of Drums of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers and during dinner guests were entertained by spectacular aerial duo and fire performers. For the big finale, the voice of M people, Heather Small filled the dance floor for the rest of the evening.

Thank you to everyone who attended and showed their support for Childline North West! To view the gallery from the evening please click here and to view the article in the M.E.N please click here.
