We were thrilled when on the 8th March, International Women’s Day, Out There Events’ owner Marcie Incarico, was named one of Manchester’s Top 100 Most Inspirational Women by Manchester Evening News.
The M.E.N featured Marcie in ‘Manchester’s Top 100 Inspiration Women’ following the continuous growth of OTE since launching in 2001 and the successful acquisition of our sister company, Mix Media in 2013. Marcie’s achievements were celebrated alongside many other inspirational women in the region, to view the full article please click here.
But the good news didn’t stop there, theEword asked Marcie to share her wisdom for their theSHEword #BeBoldForChange campaign where they interviewed 29 influential women on how to achieve gender equality.
When asked what advice Marcie would give to her younger self at the start of her career, she replied that “I would remind myself that every experience is a valuable one, even if it doesn’t seem it at the time. All inspirational people you meet, the good and mediocre managers you have worked for, all help develop you as a person and potential leader. Grab and Relish every opportunity you can.” To read the full article including Marcie’s interview please click here.
Thank you to M.E.N and theEword for recognising and celebrating OTE and Marcie’s continuous hard work!
